Review on Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 225/45 R18 95V by Ada Bokowska - Haczk ᠌

My money is wasted, the product is terrible.

This year, the winter in St. Petersburg began at the end of November, with heavy snowfalls and frosts. It snowed a lot, the roads were uncleaned, I drove a qx70 infiniti for a week, there is a Velcro bridge (we can do without specifics, so as not to be considered an advertisement). Out of necessity, I had to sit on a second car - a BMW 530ix, on which these Pirellis stand. Lord, for what?! I almost got out on the first exit from the yard. Ice, packed snow, powdered asphalt, deep snow - all this is UNREADABLE on these tires. abs works instantly, the car rolls like on skates. Very scary. Rubber was on wheels, bought from a dealer. I plan to throw it away and buy something more decent. About me - more than 10 years of driving experience on a variety of cars, on different tires (Velcro / spikes). This is the first time I've encountered such a nightmare.

Pros
  • If it’s a warm winter outside and there is no snow / ice, it’s a real pleasure. taxiing, noise, moderate hardness
Cons
  • it does not slow down, that's all, at all. Rubber strictly for warm winters with good clean asphalt.
