Review on πŸ•οΈ Versatile and Reliable Lodge Deep Camp Dutch Oven, 8 Quart: Perfect for Outdoor Cooking by Pressure Cook

Thick cast iron works best for pots and pans

My 12 inch Dutch Lodge oven was delivered last night. As soon as I unpack it, I can see that the cast iron for the pot and lid in the oven is thicker than my 14-inch Camp Chef oven and my 10-inch Texsport oven. The pre-seasoning is scratched in places, but that's okay because I'll still season it a few times before putting food in it. The lid fits a little better than my other two Dutch Ovens and makes a nice sound when it covers the pot due to its weight. Given its thickness, I would expect this stove to be excellent at radiating heat when it comes up to temperature. I'll update my review once I cook a few dishes with it.
