Review on Kitch Easy Release White Ice Cube Tray, Set of 4, 16-Cube Trays - Total of 64 Cubes by Cheryl Bailey

I don't know how they became the #1 ice cube molds and trays. I suspect reviews are written weeks or even months after the date of purchase. Here is my experience. I bought these 4 packs in August 2016. At first they seemed great. Let's face it, there's not much to rate about the ice tray. 1) dice "good" size? 2) Can the cubes be easily removed from the tray? 3) How long will the tray last before replacing? 1) I knew the size of the cubes when I bought them. 2) The cubes are easy to release from the tray after just immersing the tray in water for a few seconds. So far no problem. 3) After about 6 months, a crack formed in one of the shells. After 1 year, all trays were covered with cracks. I'm buying new trays today and will throw them away when the new trays arrive. I'm considering trying silicone. Does anyone have any suggestions. Save your $10. It's garbage!
