Replacing the key can enhance your lock

I bought a 4-1/2" T-handle lock (black) for a shed that already had a T-handle lock but the missing key to the lock and the inner "D-handle". So I bought this product as a replacement. It was very easy to install. Remove the old T-handle lock (remove 2 Phillips screws) and install the new handle. I used two screws with square bits and the bit that came with the new handle. (You will need a screwdriver or a drill that you can put a square bit in. The bit comes without a handle, it is just a 1" bit.) The lock is easily installed using the included two screws (same holes as the previous lock) and an internal D-handle that uses a hex key (included) to adjust the adjusting screw also used. You will need to adjust the D-handle on the stem inward or outward to properly grip the opposite door. I gave this product 4 stars because one of the two keys that came with it was bent on the lock handle. I carefully straightened it with a hammer, but the metal of the key is very soft and bends easily. I suppose when the lock gets old/dirty/rusty the key can easily break in the lock when you have to tighten the key to lock/unlock the handle. I have additional keys made from the best blanks by a locksmith, which means additional costs for me as the client. Otherwise the lock has met my expectations, it fits perfectly in the same hole as my previous T-handle lock and works without any further problems.
