This grip feels very solid. It was packed in a very nice box with a plastic tray in which the pen parts were packed. I had to return it as the square bar wasn't long enough to fit my barn door.

Easy to install and works perfectly As far as security goes, I wouldn't say I stash my gold or guns there and feel safe. With a square nozzle and retractable handle, it takes a few seconds to remove the handle and open the door, but it's better than nothing

I would just like to say about this product that consumers drill a groove where the hexagon nut is embedded in the shaft. I did this to prevent the rear end from slipping off the shaft in the future. A solid item for the price.

I needed to replace the door lock on an old corrugated iron shed. I couldn't find an exact replacement and have searched and/or tried several sets of locks that didn't work. I ordered this with some hesitation but it went in easily and does the job. The D-handle position is adjustable and adapts to many situations, including mine. I would describe the workmanship and materials as average. I replaced the small mounting screws with larger ones.

I bought a 4-1/2" T-handle lock (black) for a shed that already had a T-handle lock but the missing key to the lock and the inner "D-handle". So I bought this product as a replacement.
