Review on 🔧 GM Genuine Parts Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit 24208576, complete with Gasket and Seal by Rovy Oppeneer

Fits the OEM deep oil pan on my 2000 GMC Yukon XL. A deep pan can be said to be not flat at the bottom but has one side lower than the other. However, installation was not easy due to GM's design around the pallet. You will need to lower the exhaust pipe and also temporarily bend the throttle control bracket. Another recommendation is to buy a new drain plug so that you can replace yours if the bolt head comes loose. In my experience this one worked great: ACDelco 24233099 Use a 6-prong socket and keep applying pressure to the connector when attempting to disengage it. Don't even try 12 pt. I sanded my end cap hard enough that I had to trim off the outside edges of the end cap with a dremel and then use a 1 1/8" socket on the outside to remove it. Good luck .
