Review on 🌱 Food Scrap Bags by BioBag by Liz Trujillo

Better than expected

Thanks to all the previous reviews for helping me decide to give it a try and I hope my experience inspires you! This is not a trash bag without tears. My compromise for punctures or moisture is to place a pad of newspaper between the bag and the bin along with a container of baking soda, and then place another sheet of newspaper in the bag. This will help absorb condensation and prevent frequent tears. I know I'm wasting paper. But if I don't find a responsible routine or a handy green item, the family won't be as willing to follow me! My theory is that I'm only 90% eco-friendly if a product can be 100% good. But if I don't find a way, we'll only be disappointed and mistakenly realize that this packaging doesn't work for us at all, falling back to the mere 10% of responsible citizens who use recycled packaging (which is still great for our kitchen). Garbage!). Kitchen waste goes outside 1/2 to 2/3 every 3-4 days (the smell starts and we didn't want to stuff it just for it to tear). These bio bags are more expensive than traditional bin liners but the process works well with our family and we feel better about our regular rubbish being taken straight to landfill without stopping at a possible waste sorting facility as there is a great independent system in our recycling division with many options and places to collect toxic/hazardous waste.
