Read what you will but in the end if you decide buy Dart and Smoke otherwise you've wasted your money. These two tires prevent your Kister from going off the path and into brush. I've been riding them for races, gravel rides, singletrack rides and in the woods looking for mushrooms for over 20 years. Old mountain bikers will tell you that this tire is safe and reliable. They are sticky, sticky, sharp and sticky pieces of gum. The best tires ever made (and I've spent thousands on MTB tires - this combo is the best). I hope that one day they will be available for 27.5" and 29" bikes.
