I have to differentiate myself from other reviewers. I got this as the rear tire for my 1999 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo Hardtail, replacing an original worn out WTB Velociraptor. I ride some pretty tough terrain near NYC (Spray Brook, Blue Mountain, Sterling Forest) and was disappointed with the Smoke's performance, especially in the wet.
