Works great but be careful. I tried one on a plug where the old compression fitting was over tightened and was dripping. I removed the angle valve, cut off the bad part of the copper plug and installed a new angle valve, no leaks. Here's a hint; The o-ring in the SharkBite angle valve seals approximately 1/4" to 5/16" from the end of the fitting. If this area of your connector has a good finish, it should seal perfectly. It is normal that you can rotate and install the entire valve after you press it.
