The timer does a great job and I love the flashing LED lights to show if it's before or after the countdown time (useful when it's off). I can use it in the lab without scaring people and mice. The controls are very simple and can be easily and quickly changed during the experiment. The only problem with this is that it can be a bit uncomfortable around the neck and the stand is pretty much useless as it can only sit at a 90 degree angle, but this is easily remedied by leaning it backwards or the Magnets used on the back. it is higher.
