I was looking for a quality speaker that was solid, low profile, had its own volume control and didn't require a lot of cables, wires and connectors. This speaker has it all, and I particularly appreciate the volume control on the USB-only speaker, which was hard to find but really important to me. The sound is very good, it seems well made and I love how it clears up the clutter on my desk and around the cables. It's also just plug and play, which is great. The lights are a very nice addition, but I appreciate being able to turn them off. The first one I ordered didn't have a light switch, although everything else was fine. I emailed customer service about this and they immediately sent me another one with no questions asked and the new one fits perfectly. So I definitely recommend this speaker (and the seller).
