Review on JARDLI Glass Lily Pipe Inflow + Surface Skimmer for Planted Aquarium with 16/22mm (5/8'' i.d.) Tubing by Jasmine Harris

This stylish item works as advertised and provides a conventional drain for an external filter which will remove most (but not all) of the surface film. One problem is that the bend in the hose is too tight for an aquarium with plastic rims. I had to cut off a piece of the inner plastic rim to fit it. Another problem is that the inlet pipe is too short and doesn't reach the bottom of the tank. The problem here is that you should not lower the water too much while cleaning the aquarium with filter, otherwise air will be sucked into the filter. The hose connected to the inlet is also too high causing the same problem. Perhaps the manufacturer can make longer pieces for deeper aquariums.
