I bought this to help my child learn about different types of food so I wanted something they could safely use to cut without hurting themselves. This is perfect for fruit, soft breads, avocados, muffins/cakes. To the point where I'd rather use it than a kitchen knife! You won't use it for things that require a more precise cut — slicing an onion or halving a tomato (you'll end up mashing them) or slicing a sushi roll — it needs something spicier. It is very easy to clean and there are no nooks and crannies for food to get stuck. That's a great price and I let my kid use the smallest one and keep the rest! You might not have to work very hard to get one of these - it doesn't do anything that a standard knife can't.
