Very big. 15.5 x 13 inches including door opening. Just what two guinea pigs like - the next smaller size is round, and they both always wanted to lie in a doorway, which was impossible. They can share a door and still push it around their cage with their nose. This will NOT fit in a small cage or probably a medium cage. We have a cage with a fenced playground on the floor and it has to be on the floor otherwise they can't get in or out. Our two guinea pigs own a small Oxbow Play Yard pet house with a large fence and ramp (12" x 6" cage) and there is no room for an igloo in the cage even with the cover removed. If you want it in a cage I would recommend a larger rabbit habitat that looks very similar, or use cage/trellis systems where you can control the size. Also, make sure your pet is comfortable with it. height compared to height; Many pets will be afraid of having so much space. Our guinea pigs have gotten so comfy that they sometimes sprawl out on the floor to take a nap, but yours may need more space. The next size down WAS just right for both of them when they first came to our house; You might like this more comfortable space too.
