Review on Optimized Macally 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub with 5V 2A Power Adapter & 3ft Cable (7PortHub) by John Barnett

I was and still am very upset that Apple decided that we only needed three USB ports on the back of their new iMacs. I don't want to back up to the cloud, I don't want to print wirelessly, I need a wired keyboard with number pad, and my choice of "wireless" mouse requires a dongle. and don't tell me about an external CD/DVD drive. What were they thinking?! I've tried two other USB hubs - both powered - and haven't been able to connect all of those extras without accidentally disconnecting various pieces of hardware. I don't know what made me try it. only ONCE, but I have bought two of these bushings. When they arrived and I took them out of their shipping box, I just knew they couldn't get any better. you are small How could such a small device work reliably? But they worked and they work and I feel relieved! I'm so glad I bought them - and ordered a few more to make sure I have them until Apple (hopefully) realizes what a stupid design decision they made.
