does its job best in networking products

Nice compact size and works as advertised. This is a good simple hub that is very effective for this purpose. The service was good too.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Not sure

My second of these hubs broke

Four hubs are not working after 90 days of use. This is the second 7 port USB 2.0 hub from Macally to do this for me and my recent Macally purchase.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some issues

CH Networking Products

Very satisfied so far. I wish it could charge my iPad but it does everything very well. I do feel that each of the ports is a little tight and seems difficult to plug in, but that might be because it's new and all my other devices are already in use. I want the cables to be white so it looks more attractive with my Mac since it's on my desk. Overall a great product and works great.

Pros
  • Mobile phone items
Cons
  • So far so good

Started strong but faded.

The fin has been working for a few months now. For some reason it stopped charging my iPhones, worked fine for a while but now I have to plug them directly into my computer. It also doesn't charge other peripherals like my Fit Bit like it used to. Almost like "lost power" hubs, still working fine but not perfect.

Pros
  • Manufactured by
Cons
  • For the old

Do not buy!: Networking products

This is the worst I have ever bought from Revain. The first one I bought had 2 ports that didn't work so I returned it and gave them another chance - the second one had 3 broken ports! I spent two hours troubleshooting - I tested the included USB cable and it had no problems powering my other USB devices. I measured the voltage from the power supply - 5 volts, as promised. I've tried using the hub exclusively for devices that use their own power, like printers and midi keyboards. Even they…

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works - no problem!

I was and still am very upset that Apple decided that we only needed three USB ports on the back of their new iMacs. I don't want to back up to the cloud, I don't want to print wirelessly, I need a wired keyboard with number pad, and my choice of "wireless" mouse requires a dongle. and don't tell me about an external CD/DVD drive. What were they thinking?! I've tried two other USB hubs - both powered - and haven't been able to connect all of those extras without accidentally disconnecting…

Beautiful, small and thin

The photo does not reflect the elegance of this device. The white is glossy, like the white MacBook, and it fits perfectly. It's also so thin and small that it's about the size of an iPod Touch. It's quite hard to tell by looking at the photos, I was surprised when I received it. My only complaint is that the supplied USB cable is black rather than white, contradicting both the product's finish and the white. MacBook. There should have been a white or silver cable in the kit, the same as the…
