Review on Optimized Macally 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub with 5V 2A Power Adapter & 3ft Cable (7PortHub) by Benjamin Glasper

This is the worst I have ever bought from Revain. The first one I bought had 2 ports that didn't work so I returned it and gave them another chance - the second one had 3 broken ports! I spent two hours troubleshooting - I tested the included USB cable and it had no problems powering my other USB devices. I measured the voltage from the power supply - 5 volts, as promised. I've tried using the hub exclusively for devices that use their own power, like printers and midi keyboards. Even they didn't work in the broken ports, so there's no explanation other than that some ports work and some don't. I have an older Macally 4 port hub and it's obviously much more durable - and it works! This 7-port hub is very poorly made.
