Review on Dakine Baja Tie Down Straps (12 Feet, Set of 2): Locking Cam Buckle, Superior Strength by Robert Lemons

Good but not great - Accessories

Everything is fine with this system if you like through passages. There is quality and durability. The neoprene pad works very well. This is one piece, however, so you'll need to thread the 12ft strap through the roof racks and lift it over the board, keeping the locking piece straight and in one place. Translation: You run around your car trying to lock this thing. Since it is a pull system and not a ratchet system, you can only tighten it very firmly. I have a Yukon, so I have to stretch, stretch, stretch and jump on my bumper half a dozen times. Lol It's entirely my fault for not paying enough attention when purchasing, but I would have preferred a two piece ratchet strap system that connects in the middle and locks in very firmly with minimal effort.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
