The pump is made of high quality materials and has a rope attachment point to prevent the pump from breaking off and falling into the well. 1 PS Block came with a remote jump start kit which includes a potential relay and starting capacitor and requires a 4 wire connection. These assembly instructions facilitate assembly and connection. Many pumps have these components built into the pump and if they fail, as in my case, the pump must be removed from the well and replaced. Then you have to be careful and pay attention to a waterproof seal when repairing it, otherwise it will smoke immediately when you apply electricity. The remote start kit allows future repair or replacement of these components without having to remove the pump from the well. A great advantage, as components can be damaged by lightning, surges or falls. After 3 weeks of operation, the pump is working to factory specification and a variety of pump stages are moving water quite efficiently. This unit is excellent value for money, although the price has dropped by $80 since I ordered it 3 weeks ago. I still saved about $200 by ordering it instead of paying big contractors at my local plumbing store. Also, it comes with an additional 2 year warranty over other leading brands offered locally.
