Bolt Locksmith Review

I'm interested in smart locks and decided to try August locks. After installing the lock, I noticed that the motor didn't have enough power to drive the bolt. If it meets resistance from an uneven strike plate (common in older homes), the motor driving the bolt stops and does not fully latch. Also, the plastic adapter that fits into the stock has a lot of play in the fit. If you use august by hand after a few days, it will eventually get lost and sag in the case. It doesn't matter how many times I tighten it. Of most concern are the interiors. The Kwikset Smart Lock is also notorious for its plastic interior. This lock can be easily picked with a flathead screwdriver and turned with pliers. Plastic parts can be loosened with sufficient force, unlike metal parts, and the latch can be opened without a key. In my professional opinion, the August Smart Lock is new and should not be used to secure your home.
