I received this clamp along with a bolt head angle adapter and a short arm with double socket to create a mount for my Oregon 600 on my Polaris RMK 850 snowmobile. Fast tool Free installation took literally 5 minutes - very well thought out products. The clamp appears to hold the GPS securely, and the socketed arm HERE clamps the ends of the sphere in place. So we'll see how it fares in the field this weekend, but as far as I can tell it's going to be going well. I'm looking forward to not having to take my GPS out of my pocket every time I want to look at it. However, it will be cold in this mount, so battery life will be reduced.
