InReach mount fits GPS system Accessory

I was a little hesitant to buy this as my specific device (InReach Mini) is not listed. However, it fits great and securely holds my device with the handlebar mount for a few hundred miles on and off road. Luckily I didn't have to use InReach, but I'm glad I always had it handy.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Faulty

Very reliable in car mounts

I just used this mount on my Garmin Rhino. I wanted to mount it on the handlebars of my ATV. It attaches it to a four wheeler better than I expected. I don't worry about my Garmin Rhino flying or getting lost when hitting the trails and exploring new areas. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Back clip mount

The mount seems to fit right, just wish they made a cradle version for my device. We ride mountain snowmobiles, and sometimes when they're going down, it's easiest to turn them around. This is a potential problem as we assemble them in a similar way to motorcycles. We have an old ram system which is a stand for an older model and have had no problems for two years. Only time will tell, that's why I'm giving it four stars.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It's just not acceptable.

I have used ram mounts on motorcycles, quads and mountain bikes. I just bought this mount for my new Garmin 66s and on my first ride with it it ran like Elon was working on it. The first rocky hill I drove my 78sc on a ram mount and never dropped the thing was trying to land on Mars with my 66s. Ram needs to do better and make a similar mount to the others that wraps around the device. And yes, it was correctly blocked. It clicked loudly when inserted and didn't pull out and clicked loudly when

Pure luck - fits my Radioddity HT

I bought this mount thinking it would be a simple clip mount. I was wrong. However, I reversed the "clamp mount", added some washers and longer #10(?) screws. It now fits my Radioddity GS-5B very well. If I cut the bottom off about 1/8" I can access the USB charging port on the battery. It looks professional with the right pads. ). It doesn't match my Yaesu FT-60 at all. I wish the description matched it would be a bit clearer, but if I looked closely I would see that it's not what I expected.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Modernity

Seems to work great with my snowmobile

I received this clamp along with a bolt head angle adapter and a short arm with double socket to create a mount for my Oregon 600 on my Polaris RMK 850 snowmobile. Fast tool Free installation took literally 5 minutes - very well thought out products. The clamp appears to hold the GPS securely, and the socketed arm HERE clamps the ends of the sphere in place. So we'll see how it fares in the field this weekend, but as far as I can tell it's going to be going well. I'm looking forward to notโ€ฆ

Not suitable for Enduro/Offroad!

I love Ram Mounts and have used them for years. I have had an eTrex mount for several years (passed 3 GP!). I was starting to get lost but thought it was ok after years of use and I still need a new GPS. I got a good deal on a new GPS so I went with a RAM mount that would fit my current handlebar setup. However, this particular mount is totally unsuitable for off-road driving. Vibrations eat into plastic and after 5-6 rides it becomes useless. Now my GPS is slipping off so I hold it by a string

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Garbage. RAM is best for car mounts

Just spent $100 on 7 RAM items. Only 3 out of 7 have no issues and these are B size ball mounts with two holes. This mount comes with 2 different sized nylon nuts that attach the ball mount to the clip that attaches to the back of the GPS unit. I didn't realize they were different sizes until the clamp popped trying to fit a nut into the clamp. Didn't force. The first nut went straight into the hole. The second one didn't hit as I thought it would because I just didn't line it up. As I turnedโ€ฆ
