Just to clarify this is a sample pack rating - 4 stars. The pattern pack mainly contains Academy Rough Paper (12 pcs) and Academy Cold Press (4 pcs). Cold press artist and hot press 2 pcs. I wish there were more artist papers and a full set of hot, cold, and draft academy and artist papers. While Baohong releases his paper as 100% cotton for Academy & Artist, the experience is very different. than most 100% cotton brands I've tried. If you like textured paper, you'll love Baohong. I personally like rough paper for big strokes with minimal detail. It gives a wonderful texture to the picture. Detail painting is more suitable for CP Academy, as it is less structured. The paper patterns are 5x7 and will flex a lot even when applied with tape. Due to the paper's thickness and texture, soiling is possible on both sides - if you don't mind the paper's curl (does not fully even out after many days of stacking under heavy books).
