This is a dual band router but the 2.4GHz band never worked. I configured profiles for both bands, but the 2.4GHz band doesn't show up in WiFi discovery. At first I didn't think about it. All my devices used the 5 GHz band and worked fine. Then a few months later we tried to buy a cheap phone that only works on 2.4GHz. So I went to the web control app and checked everything and everything is fine. At this point I realized that 2.4GHz just didn't work, but it seemed to work with newer devices and I didn't mind that it didn't work with this cheap phone until I'd just bought a new laser printer. Brothers. . Guess what? It operates at 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. It's important to me that the laser printer works, so I'll either have to buy another router, connect the printer directly to the router, or use USB, which I didn't want to do either. I wanted WIFI dammit. When I went online to see if anyone else had this problem, I found many of them. Some of them complained that they stopped working shortly after purchase or were dead when purchased. I bought the router almost 10 months ago so I can't return it. It sucks because it's probably the most expensive router I've ever bought, but it doesn't work properly.
