When it came time to bleed the brake fluid from my classic Trans Am, I got the 8000 out right away. Since I didn't have a helper to bleed the brake pedal and gravity was too slow, this tool should help I thought. It's not like this! What happened was a surprise. When inflating the device to a vacuum of 15 Hg. Art. part of the liquid collected in the plastic container got into the pressure gauge and handle. I stopped what I was doing and as I did the pin holding the plunger came loose and was momentarily lost. I quickly disassembled the block to remove the brake fluid from the block. The device has been cleaned, but the device no longer holds a vacuum. Very disappointed, I hired a helper and flushed the brake system quickly and easily. The money I spent on this product was wasted. I've been in the car hobby for over 50 years, so this failure was not an "operator error" but a design error.
