I had to share a 2011 BMW 335ix pen. Other separators seem to have 22mm plugs that don't fit the joint. The hammer blow didn't work. This tool has arrived and consists of very essential parts. It fully penetrates the joint without touching the shoe and covers the bolt well. Using a hydraulic screw loosened the heavily salt-corroded joint relatively easily. A few hammer blows on the second hinge, once with a little pressure, a few more turns, and it also burst. Great tool.
