Good for off-road riding (not recommended for road riding after sunset!)

Likes: + Metal design + Micro USB charging + Rainproof! + User-replaceable battery + Plastic bike mount (no rust!) + Free taillight + Battery indicator. What I didn't like: - The bike rack is quite difficult to put on - The light cone is not adjustable - The rear light is not adjustable. You get a bright spot surrounded by a huge, faint light. - Not even close to 1200 lumens (I don't know how they tested it). 5, the flashlight still works pretty well for the price but I was looking for a replacement flashlight that I have been using for over 6 years and even at around the same price the old ones are still much better! This wastes a lot of light, the area around the bright spot is not even bright enough to see details. With an old flashlight, even if I set the beam to the max, it would have a nice even brightness all around the perimeter, and I could narrow the beam to avoid dazzling other bikers. about 20% brightness, so it's not even that useful. When you need a wide beam you want the light to really let you see everything in front of you so brightness (even close up) is important, uniformity is important, you need to be able to distinguish fine details to see fine details to be able to distinguish be aware of all the dangers. --- Conclusion: --- In the end, the biggest problem is the bars, whether you ride on a bike path or on a sidewalk shouldn't really matter. So if you don't mind massive light bleeds, this flashlight is fine. I've had no major issues with intended use, no accidental power offs, no issues in the rain, no issues dismounting.
