3mm neoprene jackets are hard to find. After several weeks of searching on the internet, I decided to take a risk and go with this brand. I am a swimming instructor and bought this jacket for cold water training. The thickness of 3mm is enough to keep the body warm while not interfering with the movements of the hands. I normally wear a women's size 10, but following the advice of other reviewers to go up a size, I ordered a size 14. It fits, but barely. The jacket originally had a very strong smell of oil, is longer than I would like in the upper body and the sleeves are a bit long (and I have long arms), but other than that I am happy with my purchase. Used in chlorine about 10 times and still no signs of deterioration. Be sure to rinse well in cold water after use.
