Review on 63 1128 Suzuki Performance Intake Kit by Jason Connolly

Good intake kit. The air filter is large and I bought a K&N dry sock which also fits this air filter perfectly. I can actually hear the engine sucking through this filter. What I didn't like was the way things developed. It's like a jigsaw piece and the intake pipe was rubbing against the front metal plate so I had to put a piece of rubber tubing in between as a buffer. Yours shouldn't chafe so everything was lined up when I put it all together. I'm still happy with the purchase and it looks better than the factory air box with a more than big enough air filter. K&N also has a dynamic schedule to validate its product. I personally run a Powerbomb FMF full titanium exhaust system, cherry bomb and this airbox kit as my only current engine mods. The bike runs confidently, there are no problems with handling. I recommend purchasing a sock to match this air filter for added protection. It should also be noted that it will be difficult to clean the air filter since it will have to be disassembled.
