Review on Revitalize Your Cedar Wood: Giles and Kendall Cedar Oil - Restores Original Aroma, 8 oz by Nick Worley

I almost gave this product two stars in my rating. I've been a carpenter since high school and I love cedar. When I opened this bottle I was a little confused and very confused. I didn't smell bad, let's just say, but I didn't smell like cedar. It had a strong earthy tone with just hints of cedar. I was very disappointed. I love the smell of cedar and it wasn't. I decided to give it a try and rubbed it on a 4" x 4" piece of pine wood and left it in place. The next day, the rag still smelled, well, not like cedar, and the board was earthy, too. Today the rag smelled the same, but the pine board smelled like cedar! My wife laughed at me for sniffing the pine board over and over again :) To be honest, I don't know if the instructions say to apply it and let it sit for a day or two because - full disclosure - I do Didn't read further on what materials are safe to apply, but I found that when applied to wood a day or so later it definitely has that wonderful cedar scent. Very happy :)
