Really bad smell, like smelly cigarettes. THERE IS NO CEDAR SMELL AT ALL. Disappointed! Compare the picture of the tin I received with the picture advertised for this product on Revain. The jar sent to me is an OLD VERSION that they no longer make. I don't know how old this product is! Sell old expired rancid cedar oil - - - - FULL PRICE? Back immediately! You can buy a fresh NEW can at Home Depot for LESS MONEY. BUYER ATTENTION!

Give it time in wood polish

I almost gave this product two stars in my review. I've been a carpenter since high school and I love cedar, so I was a little confused and very confused when I opened this bottle. I didn't smell bad, let's just say, but I didn't smell like cedar. It had a strong earthy tone with just hints of cedar. I was very disappointed. I love the smell of cedar and it wasn't. I decided to give it a try and rubbed it on a 4" x 4" piece of pine wood and left it in place. The next day, the rag still smelled,

Pros
  • Lots of positive feedback
Cons
  • No results

The only true! Best in Wood Polish

Forget cedar essential oils! It has a much BETTER taste and is great value for money. Use this oil not only for freshening up cedar in my cabinets but also for furniture and it also works great when I use it with a wax melter and diffusers. Cedar is also a great way to get rid of a whole bunch of unwanted critters. Phenols, which give cedar its strong earthy aroma, repel fleas, moths, cockroaches, poisonous snakes, mice and rats. Dear cedar and this oil is phenomenal, just reordered - this time

Pros
  • Restore efficiency and extend the life of aged cedar wood.
Cons
  • Expensive

Happy customer is here!

Excellent product. Fleas, stink bugs really hate it. Safe to use. This product needs to be diluted. If you're using it to clean hardwood floors, just take an oil-based soapy cleaner like Murphy's, pour in some cedarwood oil and shake it. You really need to keep an eye on the dilution ratio as that nice cedar smell you want will appear musty at higher ratios. And you don't need much to get results. I use it on windowsills, carpets, floors, furniture. Also, I read that it can be used on plants…

Pros
  • Can be used on all types of wood to repel insects.
Cons
  • Available in black only.

Great Authentic Lasting Fragrance

Great smell, fresh and authentic. You couldn't wish for better! I applied it to the vertical surfaces of a vintage cedar cabinet. Clothes stored in drawers inherit the scent of rich cedar. After 6 weeks it's still working. I gave it 5 stars for "thickness" to avoid coloring the product for an attribute that doesn't make sense to me. This is a very light oil, lighter than vegetable oil, closer to baby oil. Seems to be the perfect density for easy application and quick absorption into the wood…

Pros
  • 8 oz. can cover about 300 square meters.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
