Shock absorbers were packaged well. Installed on my son's 2001 Camry in about 15 minutes. The mounts also came with brackets and ball joints which was a nice touch. Luckily I was able to use the existing ones. I recommend using a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry the tension clips to remove the old ones (and the pre-installed hinges and brackets on the new ones if you don't need them). My only concern is durability as they are made in China. Overall MUCH better than the weak ones they replaced.
