Review on 🚪 Maxpow Gas Charged Liftgate Struts for 4Runner 1996-2002 (2Pcs) - Rear Hatch Support Shocks, SG229011, No Added Ladder by Daryle Grove

Much nicer than having to deal with a tailgate that keeps banging on my head. After 5 minutes of installation, I open the sunroof just a little and now it's slowly opening all the way. I thought it would be harder to close with abstracts, but no. They are very smooth and strong enough to hold the hatch open. It is great! I ordered the nylon gasket in HD as other reviewers have mentioned. Haven't received it yet but can't wait to install it. Turns out my old shocks didn't have a spacer and were looser than these. The previous owner must have replaced it at some point (within the last 21 years). Honestly, the fact that they're slightly loose doesn't really matter that much. ? I'll install spacers anyway when I get the part.
