Revainrating 4 out of 5

**UPDATED FROM ORIGINAL POST**

I originally gave this one a star. The company contacted me and did everything they could to ensure my issues were resolved. Since then I've received a new replacement from them and while it's better it's not 100%. BUT I also tried to work with them to demonstrate the issues I was having and how I can improve this product. Out of the goodness of my heart I agreed to work with them (it's not a paid sponsor and I don't get any compensation) by showing them a video to show where I thought there were weak points. The new replacement is MUCH better than the previous one and I don't feel like it's going to explode in my face. I think this product has the potential to be a better product than it is now and it really works as advertised. I am satisfied with this device and will keep it and use it without fear. I still find the security a bit awkward, but I guess you could say that it makes it a little bit safer over time. For the money it seems good, there were no problems with the exchange. If you're looking for a budget-friendly soldering torch, this seems like a good place to start. I think this is a better portable soldering iron than a flashlight, but it works well enough for most projects. The only reason it has a 4 star rating is because of the stuffing tube. It's still hard to fill and will waste more butane than I'd like, but I'm working with the company again to find a fix for this, so maybe if someone else gets it it can be fixed. Problem. They seem generally interested in learning how to improve this product, so this is a start and at least shows that the company is interested enough in fixing the issue. I've seen worse products for the same or more money. If it lasts as long as my old lamp, then I'll be very happy.
