Amazing Flashlight - Welding and Soldering

Amazing Flashlight. Well made, well packaged, great storage box. I've used it for electrical shrink connections and made over 50 connections on a single fuel tank. So far it is very simple and reliable. Two minor criticisms: 1) I always use it with a catalyst attachment, but the burner doesn't fit in the housing with the catalyst on. I cut some foam from the case to make it fit. 2) the description says the butane doesn't go so I tried to fill it up when it came. It took me a while to realize it

For us, a company stands behind its product.

When the kit arrived I opened it, followed the instructions, filled the tank and waited the indicated time for the fuel to stabilize. I tried to light a torch, but it didn't light up. Literally twenty times in the next hour or so and nothing. Contacted Revain, the rep was more than polite, she contacted the manufacturer and long story short, LEXIVON shipped me another set overnight. When he arrived he again followed the instructions and VIOLA! It works and it's very impressive. The flame…

Useless case with tips

I just received the iron and didn't have the opportunity to test how well it works, but I lit it and it's better than another brand. I had to reconsider this aspect as the barrel doesn't seem to radiate much ambient heat. The lighting is a bit odd: you have to twist the spring-loaded thing sideways to press the fire button, but then you have to hold it while you slide the other locking switch or the iron will turn off immediately and you let go of the firing pin. No big deal, I think I can get…

God bless America 🇺🇸

Error loading media. I have been repairing electrical wiring and circuit boards in cars for almost 40 years. Over the years I have tried 4 major brands of butane soldering irons including Blue-Point®, Weller, Bernzomatic and Portasol. Every one of them failed me on the first try. Worse still, the product's "road test" calls for butane. The problem is that once you fill up with fuel, you forget to return it 🤬. The ones I've bought in the past are rubbish in my opinion. This Lexivon-LX770 is the

Better than Dremel version

I have bought both this model and the Dremel version of the product. In the photo they look the same, but there are small differences. Ignition wire placement is better designed on this model and the underside of the heat shield and ceramic flame burners are not designed to come loose when changing tips or accessories. There is a metal nut holding these parts to the base and a black plastic ring/nut holding the outer shield over this metal nut. At first it was embedded in a black plastic…

**UPDATED FROM ORIGINAL POST**

I originally gave this one a star. The company contacted me and did everything they could to ensure my issues were resolved. Since then I've received a new replacement from them and while it's better it's not 100%. BUT I also tried to work with them to demonstrate the issues I was having and how I can improve this product. Out of the goodness of my heart I agreed to work with them (it's not a paid sponsor and I don't get any compensation) by showing them a video to show where I thought there…
