Review on Men'S Flex Stretch Tactical Water Resistant Ripstop Cargo Pants, Lightweight EDC Outdoor Hiking Work Pants By CQR by Arunprasath Elliott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Purchased 2 pair for event work in Alaska. So far I really like them.

I purchased 2 pairs of the flex cargo to wear while working a Triathlon in Alaska. I fall somewhere between 34/36 for waist size and it makes purchasing pants online a pain. I wanted to be able to wear thermal gear under them and still have room for a concealed holster when at home so I went with 36/32. The waist size is perfect for me and can handle a pair of swim shorts or thermal leggings without being too snug and it also isn't too loose if I'm going commando. The cuffs are large enough to get around my Keen workboots and stay, which was another important factor. The length was a little long but if I purchase another pair I'll probably get the same 32 length. If wearing Chacos or tennis shoes I just fold the cuffs twice.I normally carry a small pack with various gear I may need which is a pain. These pants have enough storage to carry everything and I'll probably ditch the pack in the future.I really like how close the belt loops are on the side. My leatherman stays in place and doesn't slide around. So far I really like them and would recommend them. However, I've only worn them 3/4 times apiece and washed them twice so I don't know how well they will hold up. If the knees, crotch, and stitching hold up then I'll be buying some more. If not I'll be coming back to edit my review ;)

Pros
  • The reinforced knees and pockets provide added durability, ensuring that these pants can withstand even the toughest wear and tear
Cons
  • The pants do not offer enough protection against the elements
