Review on 📍 Handheld GPS Garmin GPSMAP 78 for Enhanced Navigation by Anthony Robichaud

I have a 76csx (it's dead) and the old software and custom settings are much better on older Garmins than newer Garmins. But still I love this GPS (not OS)! The screen is magical, colorful, crisp and the operating system is very fast. Very happy with my purchase! As a professional yacht captain and avid part-time fisherman, my PDAs wear out and are used on an almost daily basis. UPDATE: The unit died the same month the warranty ended! I've encountered this problem before with Garmin and now I think I've had enough of their products. Earlier this month (August) the unit was hit by a wave while fishing and was left face up in the sun. Condensation formed on the screen, which died off during operation a few weeks later. This is unacceptable for an IPX 7 RATED marine product, OTHER GARMIN CONTROL MODULES HAVE DONE THE SAME WORK FOR ME!
