The manufacturer agreed that the description of TPMS functionality was misleading.
I have tried using this to update the car's ECUs or to write the ECU's special TPMS tire codes. I couldn't, after speaking to the manufacturer I found it shouldn't. I already have several monitors with the same specifications and have decided to return the device. I will say if I haven't had any other monitors then this is a good choice. Before I buy another one that suits my needs, I will contact the manufacturer in advance. This is the first unit I have returned and Amazon gets 5 out of 5 for easy support!
