We had an issue at our church where people were tripping over concrete bumpers installed in handicapped parking spaces to prevent motorists from parking on the tiled driveway at the entrance. These bumper-mounted posts and chains draw attention to trip hazards without creating additional problems for drivers or snow removal crews. They were blown around by strong winds during the first storm until the plinths were filled with small stones as expected. They arrived on time for the Christmas service, as promised. And the plastic chain will not damage cars that park too close.
