Review on πŸ”§ 3-Piece Locking Impact Extension Set by Sunex, with 3/8-Inch Drive by Tony Doolittle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No more lost or stuck sockets!

I had some work to do on the engine and I was scared of some parts that normally tend to chip off the socket and into the deep darkness fall the place. To avoid those headaches in the future I got this set of blocking shock extensions. This gives you CR-MO 3", 6" and 12" shock-blocking extensions. As a CR-MO I had no problems using 6" and shock all day. To lock the bushing, lower the ring and insert the bushing, making sure the ball bearing lines up with the hole in the bushing. That's easy! The socket itself is about the same diameter as the end that goes to the impact wrench. The blown body isn't anything special, but the extensions snap in pretty well. I recommend!

Pros
  • Radial square drive angles reduce socket wear over time
Cons
