Warranty First: DORMAN LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY Dorman prides itself on the quality of our products and your satisfaction with our work. Accordingly, Dorman warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. As your exclusive remedy, Dorman will replace, free of charge, any Dorman product which, in Dorman's reasonable opinion, fails to conform to the warranty set forth above. This warranty is void in the event of non-recommended use, improper installation, or physical damage. In addition, Dorman will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, and your sole remedy is to replace any product that does not conform to this Limited Warranty. This is the second driver's side controller and motor that I recently replaced. The first. It was a cheap part from an auto parts store that had a one year warranty and failed after a year and 15 days (planned obsolescence). The fit was poor and the window didn't seat properly when raised. This part costs $20 more ($61), it really fits (the auto parts store charges $120 for it), the window fits perfectly, and it's backed by a lifetime warranty. Installed Regulator so can't say when it will break or if it will break, but will post an addon and decline if it does. Today (01/21/2017) the passenger side is out of order, but the driver's side still works. I'm going to buy a Droman part for the passenger side.
