I work in a kindergarten and they have these gates. I got this to take my granddaughter to the children's prison at my home. I wanted a gate because I want everyone to have access to the space, including the dog. but no child. Because we have firefighters and tornadoes on duty, we have to remove the gate every few months to get the kids to the crèches. And somehow they persuade me to reset the gate. For installation you need a plastic zipper (do not remove it until installation). Installation was easy for me because I learned how to use a bolt and nut system without zip ties. It can be done. It just takes patience. It's easy to do with a zipper. When installed correctly, the door opens and closes correctly. If it doesn't, it's installed incorrectly. To me, having an easy gate and not climbing over it is worth the extra money.
