I have an original EOS-M, no network capability. It came with two EF-M lenses available at the time, and I also bought an adapter ring to attach the original EOS EF lenses to the camera so I could use another 300mm lens. 300mm EF and EF-S vs 200mm EF-M is a fair comparison in my opinion as digital cameras and lenses have different focal lengths. So don't think I folded the deck or anything like that. This lens is lighter, smaller and better integrated into the system. The zoom is smoother, the camera range finally meets my expectations. As for the seller, well they said it was a used lens and it had some markings on it but without magnification I couldn't see anything. Full credit for people with full disclosure
