The problem I'm having is that the two "Modes" (Tear off and Locked) don't work exactly. What I mean is that when the locking tab is set to "pull off", it doesn't go high enough to hold the mount to the helmet. When set to 'locked', it barely lifts enough to latch (functions as 'pull-off' mode). Comparing this to a real NVG mount, the tab that engages rises much higher for a secure latch. I still gave it three stars because it's a cosplay costume and I can attach it to the helmet with screws and it's a lot cheaper than buying the $400 mount.
