I've bought them twice. When I first got it they were easy to hang up and put down, but the remote was inconsistent as to whether it would work or not. As I was planning on just keeping them around the apartment and didn't want to use any other settings, I bought another set to put in my living room. This set would not untangle and after several hours of trying to untangle it I found that it was broken and half the bulbs didn't work. Exposed copper wire is extremely brittle and I doubt these lights will be stored in the off-season for more than a year. Also the second one I got was different than the first one. I don't know if that made them confused. The difference was in the component attached at the beginning of the cord that controlled the different lighting modes. In general they are suitable for single use if you handle them very carefully. Otherwise, they will definitely get tangled and ripped after storage. The stubborn, exposed wires make them very difficult to untangle. So unless you are very careful and also unlucky, I would recommend buying other wires.
