Review on Light Motion Ridgetop Headlight 856 0688 by Reginald Ward

This is my third Light & Motion light. Like the form factor. Small, firmly fixed, holds the battery perfectly and effectively illuminates the road! I often switch it from the handlebars to the top of the helmet when going off-road. The fastening tape is very strong and durable. I love that it connects to the light and I don't have to worry about losing another accessory to get everything working. One piece, one mount. Ready! 4 modes is great. The brightness level of 1000 lumens is very bright. I only use this every now and then when it's very dark and I'm moving quickly on a single path through the forest. The average is more than adequate for 95% of the scenarios I drive. "Low" is not quite as low and provides a lot of light with a long battery life. I typically use this light on the lowest setting about 80% of the time, medium for another 15%, and high for the remaining 5%. I have never run out of battery while traveling as I charge it after each use. My rides typically last between 1.5 and 3+ hours. However, when I know I'm going on a long trip, I usually only drive it at low to medium speeds. 4. Mode: Pulse with Triple Flash Excellent. I had an old version of this flashlight that only had one pulse. Although it was easy to see, it probably wasn't as easy to see because the pulse was thin. Adding a triple strobe flash solves that small problem. In this mode it is impossible to be seen. The beam spread is quite wide so seeing the path and tracks will never be a problem. This light accompanies me on my bikes (road bike, hybrid bike and fat bike) and works well in every situation. I highly recommend this flashlight. If needed I will buy another one.
