I don't care about the feature that makes installation easier. In the instructions, you drill a larger control arm rivet hole than the OEM. Then the ball joint itself has significantly larger holes than the supplied screws. I'm assuming you didn't drill the larger holes in the middle of the smaller original holes. So the end result is a sloppy fit, making it pretty pointless to replace an old ball joint that was sloppy. I used a smaller drill and then plugged the sloppy holes in the ball joints with twisted metal. A photo of mine shows one of these pieces I made, although the ones I used had more loops so were bulkier for a nice fit. Next time the ball joint goes bad, I'll buy a different brand. The castellated nut also seemed flimsy compared to the OEM.
