Good Fireplace But Problems

First, the overall presentation is great; once you stick it in the wall it will look good; and you'll forgive the fact that it's very light and at times feels like you can flex the back panels with just a little pressure. The flame effect is great and overall a joy to look at, although there are issues. The first problem concerns heating capacity: it takes time to heat a medium-sized room; and of course you can't compare it to the power of a real fireplace; So if you are planning to use this fireplace as a heat source for a large room, remember that it will work as long as you are close to the opening and the opening is at the top front of the unit. The second question is removed; or rather, the fact that there are no controls on the device itself. If you damage or lose the remote control, you will no longer be able to control the device. Ironically, my TV remote turns it on and off when I press the Select/Set button on my TV; so I think you can find a replacement for the remote control; but that is worrying. I was expecting to find at least a few buttons on the device to be able to turn it on and off, turn the lights on and off, and turn the heating on and off, but there aren't any. So remember that there is no easy way to control this fireplace without a remote control.
