I bought these because I wanted a dark gray kitchen towel that would hide stains when I wipe up spills and the like. It's a light grey, stone grey. They look very similar to the ones I bought from Ikea a few years ago. The hanging tab is in the corner, which is a bit annoying as you have to look for it in every corner. The ones with the tab in the middle of the end are much more convenient to use because they immediately catch the eye. Again a very slight annoyance but something you might want to consider. They eventually come out of the dryer a little shriveled and wrinkled. Similar towels I bought from Ikea have a crunch. Not that I ironed them, of course, but not so wrinkled, looked immediately after drying. However, the main disadvantage is their absorbency, or lack thereof. I thought they might get better after washing them a few times but unfortunately no. I spilled a bottle of water this morning and spent a few minutes waving one of those towels in the water, just spilling it on the floor before finally getting another towel.
